A: The Supporters will have to register as PCs on the NPO Portal to earn CashBack. We do not share our Customer List with anyone. We have a Privacy Policy.

A: No, purchases are not made from the nonprofit organization, they are made from Market America and/or MA partner Stores.

Q: How is Market America going to report royalties to IRS?

A: The weekly and monthly royalties are both included on the 1099 at the end of the year.

Q: Can we get a list of organizations in the Market America NPO program?

A: No, we do NOT furnish NPO lists, just as we would NOT furnish lists of NPO supporters to anyone. We may furnish statistics periodically.

Q: Can the NPO portal accept AMEX or Discover? If not, is there any way to facilitate being able to accept these cards?

A: The portal only accepts MasterCard and Visa.

Q: Does BV/IBV flowing up from other distributors and/or NPOs placed below them accrue in the NPOs banks?

A: Yes

Q: If a NPO supporter purchases something and they default after the products are shipped (charge back or decline charges), are the NPOs responsible for the bill?

Q: What is the NPO’s product liability in regards to ma Branded products?

A: The NPO does not sell anything. The NPO‘s supporters are making purchases from Market America.

Q: What will it cost me to support the organization through this program?

A: Nothing. Actually, less than nothing. You simply modify your buying habits. Instead of making your purchases the way you used to, you go through our shopping portal. Once there, you can look for products by searching our portal or the online Partner Stores. You will always get get as good of a deal through our portal as you did before and sometimes you get a better deal only available at our portal. And of course you also get CashBack.

Q: Can I purchase from any online store through you portal?

A: No, not every online store is a partner store. We currently have about 3,500 partner stores. If a particular store is not part of our partner store program, you can sometimes find the same products at a different store that is a partner store.

Q: Can you give me some examples of an online store and how this works?

A: The best way is for you to go to our portal and explore our partner stores. If you still want an example, you can look for Meijer: Go to our portal, look for our partner stores ("See all of our partners" link), click on "M" to jump to partner store names that start with "M", and look for Meijer. Click on the "Meijer" link and you'll see information about CashBack, special deals and discounts, and coupon codes.

Q: How can I best support the organization through this program?

A: A good way to start is to make our shopping portal your home page. Then take the time to identify which Market America branded products you can use instead of the products you currently use. You can expect the quality of these products to equal or exceed the quality of products from other sources. When you purchase a Market America branded products, the organization receives 100% of Market America's retail profit as a "revenue sharing" at the end of each month. Your organization vs. the merchant benefits, by "cutting out the middle man".

Q: Will I be diverting revenues from local businesses if I participate in this program?

A: Yes and No. If you would not have made a particular purchase over the Internet, but now you do in order to support the organization, then the answer is Yes. If you simply make your online purchases through our portal instead of going directly to the merchant's website, then the answer is No. You can choose to stay loyal to your local merchants and only purchase merchandise through the portal that is not available from your local merchants. This way, no revenue is diverted from merchants that you wish to support.

Q: Can local merchants become part of the Market America shopping network?

A: Yes, any merchant can choose to become a Partner Store and if you'd like to know more about how they can participate, please contact our webmaster. This would be a great way to support a local merchant by informing them how they could get exposure to the millions of customers that shop through Market America portals.

Q: What about privacy? Will I know what my referrals are purchasing?

A: Absolutely not! Your CashBack bank will simply be credited as your referrals make purchases, but you will never know who is buying or what they are buying. And for that matter, your referrals will not be aware that their purchases are generating a CahBack for you. It's your commision for referring them. The whole CashBack rewards process is all automatic and happens behind the scenes. The only requirement is that you and your referrals register with their email addresses so the system can track who should get what.

Q: Will I get CashBack on referrals made by those I referred?

A: No. You only get the 1/2% CashBack on purchases of your direct referrals.
